- The
basic one-day workshop has been designed to provide participants
with a basic working knowledge of regional anethetic techniques
for orthopedic anesthesia.
- The two-day course has been designed to provide participants
with an in-depth, working knowledge of anesthetic
anatomy, surface
anatomy and the skills necessary for the practice of
modern Regional Anesthesia. The workshops will allow attendees
to
improve
existing
skills and to develop new skills especially for the exciting
new developments around continuous nerve and plexus blocks.
- Emphasis
for both workshops is on intensive small group teaching,
allowing attendees to perfect their own skills
and
techniques.
After witnessing the techniques being performed on
human volunteers first, participants repeatedly practice
these techniques on anesthetized pigs, under expert supervision.
